Overview
Managing stakeholders can be a mysterious part of coaching Agile teams. In the mist of an Agile transformation, each voice in an organization has a story to tell with their reactions to the changes. Our job as change agents is to bring all parts of the system along with us. Yes, we can make a difference but we can not do it alone! In this introduction to the Energy Leadership Indexes, we’ll talk about how to apply ELI to meet our stakeholders where they are today, and how we can leverage deceptively simple questions leading to deeper coaching conversations for alignment. Sometimes, not always, what our stakeholders want is to be sincerely heard and considered.
Energy Leadership is a specific form of leadership which, quite literally, is a process of leading energy so that it works for you, rather than against you. By learning and applying the principles and concepts of Energy Leadership, it can increase your ability to shift your own energy and the energy of your stakeholders. When done well, it can help inspire and motivate yourself and others, through a greater sense of purpose. It can enable getting more done with much less effort and stress. And, it can attract positive and powerful people and success to the change you are leading.
